Monday, November 30

The Monroe Board of Public Works will meet at 4:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include bids for traffic signals contracts and a removal and treatment plan for the emerald ash borer.

The Monroe Public Safety Committee will meet at 4:50 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include an approval request by the Monroe Fire Department to purchase breathing apparatuses and other equipment and for purchase of a 2016 Ford Explorer Utility.

The Monroe Salary and Personnel Committee will meet at 5:20 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include closed business to conduct contract negotiations and bargaining with city employees in the AFSCME union.

The Green County Personnel and Labor Relations Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the first-floor conference room of the Green County courthouse. Agenda items include discussion of employee matters.



Tuesday, December 1

The Monroe Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 1:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include three certificate of appropriateness applications to be considered.

The New Glarus Personnel/ Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the village hall boardroom. Agenda items include consideration of village claims.

The New Glarus Village Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the village hall boardroom. Agenda items include consideration of a rezoning ordinance and a site plan review for New Glarus Home, Inc.

The Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee will meet at 7:10 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include an ordinance recreating sections of the city code to reduce the size of committees and an ordinance to reduce the size of the Board of Public Works.

The Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include an ordinance annexing property properly from Sylvester Township and a resolution approving a sanity service agreement with Monroe Clinic.



Tuesday, December 8

The Town of Monroe Board will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. at the town hall, N3302 Monroe Road, Monroe. Topics include public input on the Smart Growth/Comprehensive Plan update.
