The School District of Monroe will hold a special meeting of the qualified electors to be held in the Monroe High School gymnasium at 7 p.m. Residents may begin signing in at 5:45 p.m. Electors will vote on a potential acquisition of 70 acres of land to build a new high school.

The Black Hawk School District Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the collaboration room. The agenda was unavailable.

The School District of Juda will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. in Juda School Den.  Agenda items include the school board president’s report.

The Brodhead School District Board will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. in the district office board room. Agenda items include consideration to reduce an elementary teacher position by attrition.

The Green County Health Committee will meet at 3 p.m. in the Government Services Building. Agenda items include strategic planning.

The City of Monroe Plan Commission will meet at 5 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include several zoning 34.7 acres of land from the Town of Monroe to the City of Monroe.


Thursday, March 9

The Green County Pleasant View Nursing Home oversight committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. in the community room. Agenda items include discussion of home and community-based waiver grant opportunity.

The Green County Solid Waste Management Board will meet at 4 p.m. in the county solid waste management office. Agenda items include an update on a camera/surveillance system.

The Wisconsin River Rail Transit Commission will meet at 10 a.m. in the state office building in Madison. Agenda items include private rail crossing permit requests.


Monday, March 13

The Green County Zoning Committee will meet at 3 p.m. in the downtown courthouse. The agenda for the meeting has yet to be released.

The Green County Highway Committee will meet at 9 a.m. at the highway department. The agenda for the meeting has yet to be released.


Tuesday, March 14

The Green County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee will meet at 5:45 p.m. in the sheriff’s department meeting room. Agenda items include review and approve updates to the radio system.
