MONROE - The Monroe Woman's Club recently announced the winners of its Helen Mears contest, Southern Prairies District contest and the General Federation of Women's Clubs-Wisconsin State Helen Farnsworth Mears Art contest.
Sculpture winners included Bailey Hoesly, who placed first at the local level, second at district contest and third at state. Ashton Roesslie placed second at the local contest and third at district. Vincent Wheat received honorable mentions at both local and district levels. Isabella Carus placed first at both local and district levels. Christopher Pag placed second at both local and district levels.
Artwork and painting winners included Carus, who placed first in both local and district contests. Jaena Le Gault placed first at the local award. Ciara Kaderly placed second at the local contest and received honorable mention at district. Jordan Hirshbrunner placed third at the local contest.
