Winslow Antique Display Days set for August 8, 9

WINSLOW - Winslow Antique Display Days, sponsored by the Historical Museum and American Legion, is set for Friday and Saturday, Aug. 9 at 606 Bridge St.

The flea market opens at noon on Friday. An ice cream social with barbecue, mac salad, chips, pop and homemade ice cream will be held at 5 p.m. Music by Del Hein and Jerry Hasting will be at 6 p.m.

Breakfast will be served out of Military Field Kitchen from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday. The cost is $6.50 in advance or $8 during the event. Advance tickets are available at Community Bank-Winslow. On both days, antique tractors, engines, car and trucks, and military equipment will be displayed.

Proceeds will go to the American Legion Avenue of Flags and the remodeling of Winslow Historical Museum.
