The Green County Veterans Memorial Park held an Independence Day event July 5 for the dedication of the park’s Star of Honor.
The event’s guest speaker was Nathan James Lindsay Jr., Retired Colonel U.S. Air Force.
Several people came out July 5 and people flew in from six different states to be part of the dedication for the Star of Honor, which was installed in the park’s Hall of Honor gazebo this spring. The Hall of Honor was erected in 2017.
