MONROE - Purchase for Paws, the garage and bake sale benefiting the Green County Humane Society, will be held Thursday, Oct. 4 through Saturday, Oct. 6 at Monroe Auto Sales, 101 W. 8th St.
The bake sale will be held on Oct. 4 only. Sale times are: from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 4; from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5; and from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 6.
People can drop off donated items for the sale at Monroe Auto Sales beginning Monday, Oct. 1. Donation drop-off times are: from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 1; from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3.
Items that will not be accepted for donations are: adult clothing or shoes, computers, printers, outdated microwaves or television sets or ceiling fans. Infant clothing will be accepted.
Bake sale items may be brought Oct. 3 or early morning Oct. 4.
