MONROE - Dress up with your dog for St. Patrick's Day and you could win a cash prize!
The Green County Humane Society Pet Look-Alike Contest will be March 17, in conjunction with the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade around Monroe's Square. Participants can walk in the parade or catch a ride on the GCHS haywagon.
Anyone interested in "putting on the dog" for the parade should line up in the street next to Suisse Haus at 5 p.m. The parade begins at 5:17 p.m. Prizes will be awarded following the parade.
Prizes will be: first place, $100; second place, $50; and third place, $25. More information is available by contacting Sherri Fiduccia at 328-2100.
