MONROE - "God's Wisdom Inspires Hospitality" is the theme for Church Women United of Green County's May Friendship Day celebration at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2, at Union Presbyterian Church, 2707 5th St., Monroe. The event is open to all. Members of Peace United Church of Christ in Browntown are planning the program and will provide refreshments at its conclusion.
In preparation for this year's May Friendship Day program, the Rev. Ray Sowersby, pastor of Peace UCC, will lead a Bible Study at 1:30 p.m. on April 24 at Union Presbyterian Church for those who are participating and/or are interested in attending.
