DARLINGTON — Memorial Hospital Foundation (MHF) in Darlington recently announced the appointment of Lance Lansing, Vice-President of Lending, Apple River State Bank, as the new President of the Board of Directors. He brings a wealth of experience in business finance and management.

Lansing works and lives in Darlington with his family and is a graduate of Darlington High School. He is very community-minded and a member of the Darlington Lions Club, Lafayette County Promotion Board, Wisconsin Bankers Association Lending Board and Fayette UMC Board.

“We are excited to welcome Lance Lansing as our new Foundation Board President,” said Kathy Kuepers, MHLC CEO. “With his leadership and vision, we are confident that the Memorial Hospital Foundation will continue to make significant strides to strengthen rural health care initiatives. This is especially important as we transition in 2025 to the new location and remain the only county-owned hospital in the state of Wisconsin and continue our commitment of compassionate and exceptional healthcare to the communities we serve.”

With the recent reorganization of the Memorial Hospital Foundation, in a press release the board said it appreciated Lansing for taking on this position to help propel the Foundation into the future. As the Capital Campaign continues, with a fundraising goal of $2 million, the MHF will be setting goals for the future use of those donations.

“I am honored to serve as the Board President and excited to work alongside a dedicated team focused on improving the health and well-being of our communities,” Lansing said.

Lansing joins Foundation Board Members: January Meylor, Vice-President; Tom Daly, Treasurer; Jill Reilly, Jim Martin, Trish Lawson, Mary Jo Erickson, Tim McGettigan, Jenny Crist, Meadow Deppe, Kathy Kuepers, Carlee Segebrecht and Tammie Jamiska.
