Library to host free program on taxes

MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will host an evening program, "Talking Taxes," at 6 p.m. Jan. 14 in the library's second-floor program room.

Tax expert Lonn Spangler will explain key tax law changes for 2014, the effect of the Affordable Care Act on taxes, common errors in filing and this year's filing requirements. He'll also answer audience questions.

The program is free and no pre-registration is required.
