MONROE - The Green County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the second floor meeting room at Monroe Public Library.
Tom Mitchell will be the speaker. Mitchell is a local author who wrote the book "1919 Triple Homicide" in 2012. He is working on a new book titled "First Murder In The Village of Monroe in 1869."
The program is open to the public.
