MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center is proud to present the Sounds of Summer Outdoor Concert Series. Their second free concert will take place on Wednesday, June 28 with Harmonious Wail.
With over 30 years of touring around the world, Harmonious Wail continues to combine the searing wit, humor and mandolin virtuosity of a vintage Jethro Burns performance, the Continental panache of Django, and the charm of Edith Piaf-inspired vocals to create a unique musical journey.
Guests may bring a blanket and picnic basket to enjoy the music on Monroe Arts Center’s south terrace.
Families can picnic, dance, and visit with friends while listening to a wide variety of music each second and fourth Wednesday evening from June through August at the Monroe Arts Center. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and are free of charge.
Jose’s Authentic Mexican Food Truck will be on-site throughout each concert. Weather permitting and cash only, Jose’s Authentic Mexican Food Truck includes authentic Mexican dishes.
The Monroe Arts Center will also have their own MAC Bar open throughout the evening. Visit monroeartscenter.com or call 608-325-5700 for more information.
