ALBANY - The Education Foundation of the Albany Community is holding its eighth annual Golf Outing to raise funds for Albany Youth Programs. The golfing event is a major fundraiser for the Education Foundation that was established in October 2007.
This year's golf outing will be held Aug. 1 and will be a best-ball, scramble format with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. at Decatur Lake Country Club, Brodhead. The cost of $70 per person or $280 per foursome includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, golf cart and a ticket to dinner at the Lions Club Steak Fry, Albany. There will also be hole prizes and a raffle held during the golfing.
