FREEPORT - The Northwest Illinois Audubon Society is sponsoring the 12th annual Food For Thought Workshop, "Making Food Choices for a Healthy Environment and Healthy Communities," from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Oakdale Nature Preserve Lodge in Freeport.
There will be numerous exhibits from organizations that support sustainable agriculture, local food information, and locally grown food for lunch and continental breakfast.
