NEW GLARUS/MONTICELLO - The New Glarus-Monticello football team volunteered at Wisconsin Badger Camp on July 14.
Many work projects were completed with the help of 45 members of the New Glarus-Monticello football team.
In the morning, the team split up into groups and participated in the teams' camp programs. Programs consisted of playing a pickup game of football, making tutus and participating in different arts and craft activities. In the afternoon, the football team worked on projects including clearing trails, putting up a new barn fence and general cleaning of camps buildings.
At the end of the day the entire team, freshmen through seniors, posed for a picture with their coaches and some of the campers. In addition, some campers were given shirts from the New Glarus-Monticello football team.
