She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education, and from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2008 with a master's degree in professional development. She is employed as Program Team Lead of Golden Options Adult Day Program at St. Coletta of Wisconsin, Jefferson.
The groom-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Lake Mills High School. He is employed by Westland Restorations, DeForest.
