MONROE - The Monroe Optimist Club is partnering with the Brodhead Optimist Club to host the Optimist International Oratorical Contest Jan. 15 at the Brodhead Public Library. The theme of this year's speeches is "Where Are My Roots of Optimism?" The contest is open to all students age 17 and younger as of Oct. 1.
