'Cruis'n' show will be July 14

BLANCHARDVILLE - The Blanchardville Community Pride will sponsor its 27th annual Cruis'n Wisconsin Car, Motorcycle and Truck Show on Sunday, July 14 in McKellar Park. The event will be held rain or shine.

This year's feature vehicle will be a 1932 Plymouth BP Coupe, named "Moxie," owned by Scott and Jane Billish, Naperville, Ill. The 392 Hemi powered coupe has been a part of Jane Billish's life since her father owned it in 1973. The couple purchased the vehicle from her father in 2006 and completed the build in 2012.

Ryan Fielding, of Paragon Customs, will feature a 2013 Harley-Davidson Road King Turbo Charged Salt Falt Race Bike. This bike will be attempting a world record attempt in August at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

All stock-to-6-years-old and modified-to-present vehicles are welcome. There will be more than 130 trophies, more than 40 classes, three "Best of Classes" trophies for each class and four or more trophies awarded in larger classes.

Non-food, craft and swap vendors are welcome. Door prizes, 50/50 raffle, T-shirts and beer and food stands will be available. Dash plaques are available for the first 400 vehicles. Vehicle registration is $6 before Friday, July 5 or $12 at the door. Registration time is 8 a.m. to noon.

General admission is $2 and free for ages under 12.
