DARLINGTON - Members of the Lafayette County Farm Bureau will hold their annual meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 2, at the Bridges Restaurant and Lounge in Darlington.
All Farm Bureau members are encouraged to attend this important meeting to help create policy resolutions and vote in elections for county board directors. Serving as a guest speaker at the meeting will be Gerald Dannenberg from Mineral Point. Also being selected will be Lafayette County's voting delegates for the state Farm Bureau annual meeting December 5-7 at Wisconsin Dells.
The Farm Bureau's members on the county level who set the policy goals of the state's leading farm organization. The Wisconsin Farm Bureau is often asked to get involved in issues affecting production agriculture and rural Wisconsin both in Madison and Washington D.C.
