BTC Foundation gives 31 scholarships to locals

JANESVILLE - Blackhawk Technical College announced the names of the 31 students who received a scholarship from the Blackhawk Technical College Foundation to help them pursue their academic and career goals.

Designed to assist students with financial need, the BTC Foundation awarded more than $19,000 in spring scholarships. In the fall, the Foundation awarded nearly $21,000.

Area 2013 BTC spring recipients include Anthony Brady, Belleville, electrical power distribution; Karrie Pomplun, Brodhead, AD nursing; Holley Schultz, Brodhead, IT network specialist; Jessica Hoesly, Brodhead, radiography and accounting; Pamela Soddy, Browntown, AD nursing; and Matthew Loebach, Monroe, accounting.
