On May 20 the Monroe Public Library entrance received a colorful facelift. Monroe Garden Club donated geranium and Angel Spike flowers. They brought tools, supplies and experience. Bountiful Hope staff dug holes and put knees in the dirt. It was an efficient, fun and productive gardening venture. They made everyone’s trips to the library even more inspiring. Melissa Burch of Bountiful Hope Farms will be back to the Monroe Garden Club in July to speak about plans for a Botanical Garden coming to Monroe.
