Artifact show set for Sunday

MONTICELLO - Badger State Archaeological Society of Wisconsin is holding its 25th year anniversary show of North American Indian Artifacts from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Sunday, Oct. 26, in the Monticello High School gymnasium. Food available by Boy Scout Troop 106. No cover, donation jug at the door.

Artifacts will include paintings and prints, books, pottery, jewelry, rugs and displays. There is a raffle, $2 per ticket or three for $5, for a mint copy of the book, "The Fluted Axe," by Gale V. Highsmith. The hard cover, 608 page book is the only book published on fluted axes from Wisconsin. More information is available by calling Bill Norton at (608) 214-0858.
