ALBANY — At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, the Albany Historical Society presents the program “The National Corn Picking Contest of October 1963” presented by Arlyn Zee of Albany. It was held at the Willis Riemer Farm southwest of Albany.  Twenty-four contestants from seven Midwestern states signed up, including Arlyn. The estimated attendance was 80,000.

The museum is located at 119 N. Water Street in Albany.
