MONROE - The Aging and Disability Resource Center is teaming up with Monroe Cab, and will offer a bus shuttle for those who want to attend the Monroe Art Center's Radio Live-Showcase of Talent at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Monroe Arts Center.
MAC's Radio Live-Showcase of Talent, directed by Nadine Whiteman and hosted by Ron Spielman, will include music, comedy and commercial jingles. Last year's house band, Betty and the Bee Stings, will also return under the direction of Peggy Miller Sheffer. Tickets to the show are $10.
Monroe Cab agreed to extend their hours for those who want to attend the show, and pre-registration is required. Those who pre-register to take the cab will be automatically entered into a drawing for a free ticket.
ADRC is also offering round-trip transportation by bus from Belleville, New Glarus and Monticello for $3.50. Those who take the bus will also have their names automatically entered into a drawing for a free ticket.
