BLANCHARDVILLE - Senior Jason Meudt scored 15 points and senior Devin Jeglum added 10 points as the Pecatonica Vikings downed the Argyle Orioles, 41-28, in Six Rivers East Conference boys basketball Thursday night.

The Vikings jumped out to a 15-7 first quarter lead and never trailed.

"We played well. We could've played better. We left some opportunities out there, but Argyle never gives up. They play hard," said Pecatonica head coach Kevin Parman. "We just got some transition early. It's a good win. At this time of the year, you want to play your best. That's our focus," Parman said.

Argyle (1-18, 1-10 Six Rivers East) got 10 points from senior Kyle Geissbuhler and eight points from sophomore Jared Johnson. The Orioles are back in action tonight at Juda. Pecatonica (10-9, 5-4 Six Rivers East) will travel to Black Hawk Saturday.
