HIGHLAND - The Pecatonica girls basketball team clicked on all cylinders Monday night during a 72-45 rout of Highland.
Pecatonica junior Kimee Chandler scored a game-high 27 points, including two 3-pointers, to lead the Vikings.
Senior Brittany Kent scored 18 points with two 3-pointers and junior Kaitlyn Linder added 10 points.
Pecatonica (2-0) outscored Highland 21-8 in the first quarter and led 39-25 at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Vikings went on a 16-1 run, holding Highland without a field goal to put the game away.
"I think our girls are making a commitment to get better every day," Pecatonica coach Mike Armitage said. "We are far from where we want to be."
