ALBANY - The Comets' boys basketball season started on the wrong side of the win-loss column Saturday.

Beloit Turner rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit to beat Albany 57-44.

The Comets fell behind 16-7 after the first quarter before exploding for 25 points in the second to post a 32-24 lead.

Albany's offense slowed in the third quarter, scoring just eight points as its lead whittled to just one basket.

In the fourth, the Trojans proved to be too much for the Comets, as Turner dropped 19 points on the home team in the final frame.

T.J. Zweifel led Albany with 13 points and Tyler Bauman added 11.

Albany travels to Pecatonica on Friday.
