MONROE - Six area basketball teams have earned spots in the WisSports.net coaches polls.
Monroe (3-0) is ranked No. 1 in the state Division 2 girls poll, up a slot from a week ago. Freedom, who has yet to play a game this season, dropped to No. 2.
Black Hawk (1-1) is ranked fourth in Division 4, falling from second-place after a loss to Orfordville Parkview, which was ranked 13 in Division 3.
New to the Division 4 rankings are Pecatonica (2-1) to No. 9, and Juda (2-1) to No. 14. With Barneveld (1-2) staying in the rankings, four of the seven Six Rivers East teams are ranked in the top 15.
On the boys side, Monroe (2-1) fell eight slots from No. 7 to 15 after an overtime loss to Stoughton.
Pecatonica (2-1) moved into the rankings at No. 15 in Division 4.
