Monroe Mat Rats take first at Belleville

BELLEVILLE - Monroe Mat Rats took first place as a team at the Belleville Tournament last weekend.

In the K-2 group, Bodie Minder, Patrick Rielly and Jared Stubbe took first. Logan Blum, Garrett Grossen, Max Haffele, Liam Hermanson, and Brady Schuh took second place. Braedon Malkow, Corbin Mann, Max Patterson, Aidan Sweeney, Damon Tadlock, Isabel Tadlock and Tristan Teasdale took third.

For the third- and fourth-grade group, Colby Argall, Drake Ingold and Nick Schumacher took first, and Sam Kind took third.

In the fifth- and sixth-grade group, Parker Ingold and Cole Murray took first. David Andrews and Hayden Arneson took second, and Thomas Rielly took fourth.

In the seventh- and eighth-grade group, Ryan Hughes took first, and Erick Timm took fourth.

In other team results this weekend, Liam Hermanson placed first in the K-2, and Brad Gilbert place third in the seventh- and eighth-grade group at a tournament in Oxford. Troy Gorr placed second in the seventh- and eighth-grade group in the Sauk Prairie Tournament.

Colby Argall received first in the third- and fourth-grade group at the Mount Horeb/Barneveld Tournament. Damon Tadlock, in K-2, placed first in Rosendale, third at Hudson, third at Marshall, second in Darlington, second in Kewaskum, second in Oregon, second in Marshall, second in Poynette, and fourth in Pardeeville. Isabel Tadlock in K-2, who placed third in Rosendale, third in Hudson, third in Darlington, second in Kewaskum, third in Oregon, and third in Poynette.

The Mat Rats will be traveling again next weekend to the Verona Tournament Sunday, March 7.
