WFCA announces All-Star Game rosters for July event

MONROE — The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association recently announced the rosters for its annual Senior All-Star Games, which will be held July 16 and 17 at UW-Oshkosh’s Titan Stadium.

Monroe quarterback Max Golembiewski and running back Tyler Matley will play for the South Large team. The pair just helped the Cheesemakers wrap up an undefeated spring season and will play at Loras College in Dubuque this fall.

The South Small team will have a wide array of local players. 

Brodhead-Juda has linebacker Braden Cook and defensive back Conner Green on the roster.

New Glarus-Monticello QB/WR combo of Darris Schuett and Nathan Streiff will represent the Glarner Knights. 

Luke Schwengels, a linebacker for Parkview-Albany, will play defense in the game. Ryan Molitor of Black Hawk-Warren is slated to suit up as a tight end. 

The Eight-Player All-Star Game will take place at 6 p.m. July 16. The Small School All-Star game will be played at 2 p.m. July 17, with the Large School game to follow at approximately 6 p.m.

WFCA releases All-State, All-Region teams

The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association released its all-state teams for the 2020/2021 football seasons, as well as the Spring 2021 all-region team.
