BLACHARDVILLE — With a 59-40 victory, the Vikings defeated the Warriors for the first time in eight years. Pecatonica had a 20-point lead at half and never looked back.

“We started off with intensity tonight and both Anna [Tisch] and Bri [Peterson] made some big shots for us in the first half,” Pecatonica head coach Linda Hendrickson said. “When you have four girls in double figures and your top scorer isn’t one of them, you know the girls are working as a team.”

Tisch was the leading scorer for Pecatonica, tallying 16 points with half of them coming at the charity stripe. Her sister, Loretta Tisch, drained three 3-pointers in her 11-point total. Bri Peterson and Diana Hendrickson chipped in 10 points each.
