Monroe’s streak comes to an end

DELAVAN — After drawing two games and defeating East Troy, Monroe’s hot streak came to an end with a 2-0 loss to Delavan-Darien on May 6. Brooke O’Grady and Yaricel Aranda scored for the Comets. 

With the loss, Monroe drops to 3-5-3 overall and 2-3-1 in the Rock Valley. The Cheesemakers are middle of the pack in conference with seven points.

Sugar River’s game against Columbus May 7 was delayed at the 10:50 mark. The Raiders had a 3-0 lead with three goals from Anya Brenkman. The game will be concluded Monday, May 13 at 6:45 p.m.
