BRODHEAD — Both the Brodhead-Juda boys and girls took third in the four-team Brodhead Invitational Aug. 23.
Evansville won the boys meet with 28 points, while Beloit Turner was second (56), Brodhead-Juda third (67) and Edgerton fourth (72).
Evansville’s Riley Siltman won the boys race with a time of 17 minutes, 20 seconds, and teammate Benedict Gallagher was second (17:42). Brodhead’s Jacob Staffon (19:28) was ninth, one spot ahead of teammate Trenton Condon (19:44). Royce Brauer (20:22) and Carter Urness (20:41) were 13th and 14th, respectively.
Evansville won the girls race with 32 points. Edgerton was second (59) with Brodhead-Juda third (62) and Turner fourth (69).
Cardinals sophomore Madelynn McIntyre took home first place (20:48), and Brodhead-Juda’s Zoe Tresemer was 11th (24:03). Carissa Purdue (24:08 was 13th for the Cardinals and Nicole Kamholz (24:18) came in 15th.
