Juda tops Argyle; Ponies beat Eagles

JUDA - Sophomores Ellen Kiser and C.J. Dunwiddie each had 10 kills to lead the Juda Panthers past the Argyle Orioles 25-17, 25-23, 25-20.

Kiser added six blocks and Dunwiddie contributed with 10 service points as the Panthers improved to 3-1 in the Six Rivers East and 5-8 overall.

Aly Pierce handed out 12 assists and Megan Trotter came up with 10 digs for the Panthers.

Juda travels to Pecatonica while Argyle hosts Albany in conference action, Thursday.

Monticello 3, Barneveld 1

MONTICELLO - The Monticello Ponies outlasted the Barneveld Eagles in four games, 25-22, 22-25, 25-17, 25-19, Tuesday night.

Junior Taylor Klitzke had seven kills and four blocks, senior Haley Blum delivered six blocks and two kills, and sophomore Desiree Marty added 20 service points to lead the way for the Ponies.

Monticello improves to 1-4 in the Six Rivers East and will travel to Black Hawk on Thursday.
