Ben Wikler, chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, joined Green County Democrats on Saturday, April 20, to officially open the new county headquarters at 1520 11th Street in Monroe. Wikler (front row in the flannel shirt) was joined by volunteers and party members, including State Rep. Jenna Jacobson, D-Oregon, (back row) whose district now includes all of Green County. Others attending the opening ceremony included Green County Democratic Party Chair Sandy Rindy (far right), and long-time party activist Barb Woodruff (next to Wikler). The headquarters is open Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
