EDGERTON - Black Hawk's wrestling team lost just two matches and surrendered only three other forfeits on its way to a rousing victory over Edgerton, 45-27, Thursday.
Isaac Sigafus won by pin in 3 minutes, 5 seconds at the 119-pound division to seal the victory for Black Hawk.
Due to forfeiting and pins by each side, the score went from Black Hawk leading 27-9 to a 27-27 tie with just three matches to go. A forfeit win at 112 put Sigafus in position to grab the win.
Kyle Stauffacher won the first match of the night at 140, getting a pin in just one minute.
Jordan Luhman also picked up a pin victory for the Warriors, taking down his opponent in just 2:58 at the 189 weight class.
