Philip M. Fahey, age 94 of Belleville passed away October 24th, 2022 at the New Glarus Home. He was born May 7, 1928 at home in Belleville to his parents Robert and Lucile (Garvoille) Fahey. On October 13, 1956, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Wagner at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Madison. They spent their lives farming and raising their 6 children. They were members of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Belleville, and Phil’s generosity provided the land to build the church. Phil was the (past) Chairman of the Town of Exeter and member of the Green County Zoning Board for many years. For fun he enjoyed bowling and was a member of the New Glarus and Belleville bowling leagues. He loved trips to the casino with family and friends.
Phil is survived by his children; Gary (Theresa) Fahey of Appleton, Cindy (Jeff) Schroeder of Colleyville TX, Cheri (Jerry) Wells of Browntown, Lori Fahey of New Glarus, Kelly (Sherrie) Fahey of Barneveld and Kevin Fahey of Madison. Grandchildren: Jasmine Wittkopf, Abbigale (Chris) Alban, Tyler Pazik, Cody (Claudia) Pazik, Thomas (Emily) Wells, Karla Wells, Kenny (Elle) Schlittler, Bryan Schlittler, Matthew Fahey, Nicole Fahey, Kyle Fahey and Sean Fahey. Great Grandchildren; Jocelyn and Sidney Wittkopf, Hope and Felix Schlittler and Xander Wells.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, his parents Robert and Lucile Fahey, siblings Robert, Paul, Ray, William, Francis Fahey, Lois Jones, and grandson Cliffy Pazik.
Phil will be remembered by his children as a man that loved his family, friends and hard work. His sense of humor rang out through all his friends. He was a very giving person and devoted to his church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 338 S. Harrison St., Belleville, WI with Rev. Michael Moon officiating. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery, Belleville, WI.
A visitation will precede the mass from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Belleville.
