Ms Bling Karaoke owner and Monroe Swiss Singer Amy Jo Behling has entered a national anthem singing contest through a local television station. The WMTV Channel 15 Star Spangled Sing Off requires voters to register on the site before voting.

Behling has been a community member since 2019. Locally she has sung and played flute for Pleasant View, Brodhead City Christmas, and St. Victor’s Church, and has sang at the Monticello Homecoming and at Aster. She wrote the Niedermann-Bruggmann Family History in 1997 about her Swiss father’s side. It is housed at local museums.
