Jerry Willis “JT” Theiler, age 76, died November 27, 2023 after a brief illness, at SSM Hospice Home.

 He was born in Monroe, WI on January 21, 1947, the son of Willis and Patricia (Cox) Theiler. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1965.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 until 1968.  He was married to Sharon Burke on October 23, 1971.  He was employed at the former Moore Business Forms of Monroe for 40 years.

 Jerry was an avid hunter, spending many decades hunting deer & bear in Park Falls. He spent many years tapping trees around Browntown and making maple syrup.

 He will be sorrowfully missed by his mother, Patricia Theiler of Browntown; son, Brian Theiler of Aurora, IL, grandson, Colin Theiler of Aurora, IL; sister Christine (Bruce) Scott of Browntown; brother Kim Theiler of Argyle, WI;  nieces and their families, Lisa (Brad) Zettle and children Bailey (Luke) Miller and Brayden (fiancé, Caitlin Wieser) Zettle, Holly (Curt) Elmer and sons, Cameron and Tyler (fiancé, Mikayla Vincent) Elmer of Monroe, WI, and Kelly (Tony) Tinsman and daughters, Alexis and Addison of Stoughton, WI; and special friend Wendy Redies.

 He was preceded in death by his father Willis Theiler, daughter, Melissa (Theiler) Devoe and grandchild Cheyenne Devoe, sister, Terry Sacker, and nephew Chad Sacker.

 We rest in the fact they are there to accept him into heaven with them.

 A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME.  A private family burial will be held at Saucerman Cemetery at a later time.

 The family would like to thank the many wonderful Nurses and CNAs that helped him at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison and at the Hospice Home in Monroe.  Memorials may be given in Jerry’s name to the SSM Hospice Home.
