“Jim’s character and professionalism was demonstrated throughout the interview process,” said Student Services Director and Director of Teaching & Learning Rebecca Johnson, who helped lead the search process. “He will be a great addition to the School District of Belleville’s Wildcat family and will be a great advocate for the students and families.”

“Mr. Schmitt’s wide range of experience will be a definite benefit to the district. The Board feels he truly fits the mold of the Wildcat Way,” Board President Mike Treder added.
