MONROE - Relish, a new monthly food magazine dedicated to celebrating America's love of food, will debut in The Monroe Times on Monday, Jan. 7, as an insert in the newspaper.
Each edition of Relish will include a broad range of timely and insightful articles about food, cooking, entertaining and more. Features will include irresistible recipes, useful cooking tips and techniques, healthy cooking ideas and the latest in kitchen and household gadgets. The magazine also will include recipes from readers, as well as the occasional account of a party or gathering titled "Supper Club."
"We think our readers will enjoy their monthly taste of Relish," Times Editor Jeff Rogers said. "It's a vibrant and useful magazine on a subject that everyone loves ... food!"
Relish is produced by the same company that distributes the weekly American Profile magazine that is included in Saturday editions of the Times.
"The Hometown Recipe section of that magazine has been so hugely popular that we decided to create an entire magazine dedicated to America's love of food," said Dick Porter, president and CEO of Publishing Group of America. "We believe a magazine devoted entirely to food and cooking with an approachable and inviting format will connect with America's renewed interest in family meal time and get-togethers."
Beginning Jan. 7, Relish will be a regular monthly insert in The Monroe Times on the first Monday of every month.
