Monroe man charged with making meth

MONROE - A Monroe man has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine after drug enforcement agents discovered a homemade meth lab in a Juda residence on Dec. 14. James Bearer, 35, faces a Class F felony charge of manufacturing methamphetamine and charges of possessing and disposing of methamphetamine waste, both Class H felony charges. According to the Green County Sheriff's Office, agents of the State Line Area Narcotics Team executed a search warrant on Dec. 14 at a residence in the N2000 block of County OK, Town of Juda, where they discovered 26 methamphetamine manufacturing bottles, as well as several other meth manufacturing materials.
