MONROE - The Sexual Assault Recovery Program and Blackhawk Technical College will be providing LGBTQ Training from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Monroe campus of BTC, 210 4th Ave., Monroe. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
This training will be provided through the LGBTQ Committee of the Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault and End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin and will focus on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning community and will guide employers, peer workers and community members in the interaction and understanding of the community as a whole.
Presenters will be Molly Herrmann, a consultant from Humble Pie Consulting LLC and Kelsey M. Hood, the program director from Beloit Domestic Violence Survivor Center. No registration fee is required but space is limited. Register at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/P2ZKCM7.
