On April 23:

● At 3:32 p.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th St. (Probation & Parole), in the City of Monroe, where Alton L. Bellows, 41, of Monroe, was placed under arrest for a probation violation. Bellows was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail. 

On April 24:

● At 12:31 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of Wis. 11/81/69, in the Town of Monroe, for a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by James M. Layon, 67 of Corydon KY, was traveling southbound and attempted to merge lanes when another southbound vehicle operated by Shawn T. Sigafus, 48 of New Glarus, attempted to pass causing a collision. Both operators reported no injuries, were wearing their seatbelts, and no airbag deployment. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene.
