MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6 a.m. Thursday in the N9000 block of County J. Deputies report Jerome T. Hendrickson, 46, Blanchardville, failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and struck an embankment. The vehicle received minor damage. Hendrickson was arrested for first offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants, and also cited for open intoxicants in motor vehicle and failure to maintain control. Hendrickson was released pending court.

• A vehicle driven by Nathan M. Johnson, 43, New Glarus, hit a deer at about 7:33 p.m. Thursday, on Wisconsin 69 near County NN. The vehicle received moderate damage.

DARLINGTON - A deputy responded to a two-vehicle accident at about 7:45 a.m. Thursday in South Wayne. No other information was available.

• A vehicle driven by Kenneth D. Polkinghorn, 54, Argyle, hit a deer at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 81 in Argyle township.

• A vehicle driven by Robert F. Miller, 42, Benton, hit a deer at about 7:15 a.m. Thursday on Valley View Road in Seymour township.
