Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Friday at 16th Street and 16th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by John A. Tesauro, 16, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Roxann M. Bellerjeau, 19, Monroe. Tesauro was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:15 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 11 in Cadiz township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Stephen D. Detra, 35, Gratiot, left the road, collided with several trees and overturned after Detra fell asleep. He was cited for inattentive driving and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was released pending court. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 69 just north of County B in Clarno township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Nancy J. Koch, 72, Monroe, left the road and overturned. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Michael J. Leonard, 62, Hollandale, collided with a deer at about 7 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 39 west of Durst Road in New Glarus township. The vehicle received moderate damages.
