MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Friday:

• A passenger sustained minor injuries at 11:53 a.m. after Wayne R. Lustyk, 65, Freeport, struck the vehicle of a 79-year-old New Glarus man at the intersection of West 8th Street and 6th Avenue. A passenger in the latter vehicle was transported to the Monroe Clinic with minor injuries. Lustyk was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.

• No injuries were reported at 7:55 p.m. after Gerald N. Koskiewicz, 62, Freeport, struck a house in the 1100 block of 20th Avenue. Koskiewicz was arrested for driving while intoxicated and was jailed.

On Sunday, no injuries were reported at 12:50 a.m. after Courtney D. Dawson, 36, Lena, struck a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of 17th Street. Dawson was arrested for driving while intoxicated and was cited for driving too fast for road conditions. Dawson was released pending court.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 9:27 p.m. after Derek W. Riese, 26, Monroe, struck a dog in the W9200 block of County MM, Town of Cadiz. The dog's owner was notified of the crash, but the dog was not located. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported after Randall W. McCoy, 52, Monticello, struck a deer in the W6300 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe.

• No injuries were reported after Kevin M. Johnson, 52, Darlington, struck a deer in the W6500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe.

• No injuries were reported after William F. Bartels, 59, Monroe, struck a deer in the N1800 block of County M, Town of Cadiz.

• No injuries were reported after Caleb S. Ahrens, 24, Monroe, struck a deer in the W4600 block of Montgomery Road, Town of Jefferson.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 7:25 a.m. after Ashley S. Holz, 27, Monticello, drove into a culvert while attempting to avoid a deer on County C, Town of Mount Pleasant. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 4:18 p.m. after Douglas E. Bliss, 59, Brodhead, lost control of his milk tanker truck and struck a utility pole on County M, Town of Cadiz. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 4:22 p.m. after Fredrick J. Kloepping, 72, Monroe, slid through the intersection of Clarno Road and Mings Road, Town of Clarno. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:17 p.m. after Brandy L. Bengtson, 40, Janesville, struck the vehicle of Ronnie G. Day, 71, Brooklyn, on Wis. 92, Town of Exeter. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage; Bengtson's was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:32 p.m. after Paul M. Dammen, 68, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle, entered a ditch and struck an embankment in the N2000 block of Allen Road, Town of Cadiz. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• A driver was injured at 3:33 a.m. after Brian J. Smith, 56, Brooklyn, was struck by debris after one side of his snow plow broke against the roadway on Kelly Road, Town of Brooklyn. Smith declined treatment for his minor injuries and drove his moderately damaged vehicle from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:49 a.m. after Todd J. Plantikow, 47, Monroe, skidded through a sign and into a ditch and rolled over on Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:32 a.m. after Kevin Jon Stauffer, 58, Monticello, swerved into a power pole while attempting to avoid striking a skid steer that had started a left turn while Stauffer was passing it. Stauffer's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Brook Marie Menzia, 22, Fitchburg, lost control of her vehicle and struck a guardrail in the N3700 block of Wis. 39 before skidding into a ravine. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 3:05 p.m. after Pamela S. Champion, 66, Darlington, slid into a ditch on Wis. 126, Town of Elk Grove. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 3:26 p.m. after Arica A. Wanezek, 39, Platteville, slid into the vehicle of William J. Appel, 56, Silvis, Illinois, on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene.

On Sunday, no injuries were reported at 11:45 a.m. after Jennifer A. Sulik, 41, Burlington, lost control of her vehicle, struck a sign and entered a ditch on Wis. 23, Town of Shullsburg. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.



BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - No injuries were reported at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday after a crash was reported on private property in the E400 block of 23rd Street.
