MONROE - Minor injuries were reported at 6:01 p.m. Friday from a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 15th Avenue and 11th Street. Karl L. Byerley, 77, Freeport, hit a vehicle driven by a 58-year-old Monroe man. Byerley was cited for failing to yield right-of-way.

MONROE - On Friday:
Deputies, Brodhead Fire/First Response, Brodhead EMS and REACT Helicopter responded at 12:10 p.m. to a motorcycle crash on County T north of Stateline Road in the Town of Spring Grove. Joshua J. Reeder, 30, Davis, Ill., was traveling north on County T when he lost control of the motorcycle, traveled off road right, laid the motorcycle down and was ejected while it continued into the west ditch. He was flown from the scene by helicopter due to potential injuries. He was not wearing a helmet. The motorcycle had moderate right-side damage and was towed. The crash remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported at 12:32 p.m. when deputies were called to a vehicle accident on private property on Paradise Court in the Town of Sylvester. A vehicle owned by Jane M. Studer, 56, Monroe, was legally parked in a driveway when a vehicle owned and driven by Allen J. Schroeder, 76, Brodhead, backed up in the driveway and hit Studer's vehicle. Schroeder's vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Studer's vehicle was unoccupied and received moderate damage. It was driven from the scene by the owner.
Deputies were dispatched at 1:18 p.m. to a hit-and-run accident on County D north of County EE in the Town of Mount Pleasant. A pickup truck driven by Robert C. Schultz, Albany, was traveling south on County D when a vehicle driving behind him was tailgating and driving erratically. Schultz reached the intersection of County D and County EE, got out of his vehicle and confronted the driver. Reports indicate the female driver put her car in reverse and hit a pickup truck, driven by Erik B. Baker, 35, Monticello, then fled the scene. Deputies identified the driver as Michelle R. Zoller, 36, Belleville. Zoller was contacted and will be charged with hit-and-run to an attended vehicle, endangering safety by reckless driving and failing to stop at a stop sign.
On Saturday:
Injuries were reported at 12:10 p.m. when Green County deputies, Monroe EMS and Monroe Fire/First Response were dispatched to a motorcycle crash in the N500 block of Shueyville Road in the Town of Clarno. Jerry L. Boomgarden, 46, Freeport, was northbound on Shueyville Road when he failed to negotiate a curve to the left. The motorcycle slid on its left side into the east ditch. Boomgarden and his passenger, Lorrie K. Boomgarden, 49, Freeport, were wearing eye protection and no helmets. Both were transported by EMS for treatment of injuries. The motorcycle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
On Sunday:
Deputies, the Browntown Fire Department and First Response and Monroe EMS responded at 11:27 a.m. to a moped crash with injuries. Gary Michael Wand, 55, Argyle, was southbound on County M south of Lewis Road in the Town of Jordan when he lost control of the moped and laid it down on the pavement. He was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER for treatment of injuries. The moped sustained damage and was later picked up by a friend of the family. Citations may be pending and the case remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported at 11:41 a.m. when deputies responded to vehicle accident on Wis. 81 west of South Klondike Road in the Town of Jordan. Terry J. Rasmussen, 63, Darlington, was eastbound on Wis. 81 when he hit a deer. The vehicle received severe front-end damage.
Injuries were reported at 3:57 p.m. when deputies responded to a vehicle crash in the W2300 block of County EE in the Town of Albany. A motorcycle operated by Matthew D. Ball, 30, Beloit, was eastbound and negotiating a curve when the motorcycle hit some loose gravel on the road. The motorcycle went into the south ditch. Ball jumped off as it was sliding. He was injured and transported to Beloit. He was wearing protective glasses and no helmet. The motorcycle received moderate damage and was removed from the scene by some of Ball's friends. The Albany fire, police and EMS assisted at the scene.

DARLINGTON - A deputy responded to a two-vehicle accident at 9:51 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot. No injuries reported and vehicles received minor damage.
Minor injuries were reported at 2:07 p.m. Sunday when a deputy responded to Wis. 81 in the Town of Seymour for a vehicle vs. Amish buggy accident. Hillary Grant, 29, Cuba City, was westbound on Wis. 81 when she drove over a small hill and was unable to stop from hitting the Amish buggy from behind. Grant's 2004 Rendezvous and Joseph King's buggy received major damage and were towed from the scene. Belmont Ambulance Service, Al's Towing and Darlington police assisted at the scene.
