MONROE - Rhandee H. Wenger, 22, Browntown, was arrested and jailed at 11:23 p.m. Friday for disorderly conduct, possessing drug paraphernalia and a registration violation following a traffic stop on 13th Street at 16th Avenue.
Garrett A. Wyss, 24, Monroe, was arrested at 4:43 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of 11th Street for operating while intoxicated and operating without the owner's consent. He was released pending court.
NEW GLARUS Police
NEW GLARUS - A tree branch caught in wires and creating sparks was reported at 10:40 a.m. June 22 in the 100 block of 13th Avenue. Police found the branch and reported no electrical problems.
On June 23:
Trevor D. Sayre, 23, Blanchardville, was cited for operating while suspended at 4:30 p.m. after police stopped him on Wisconsin 69 at 11th Avenue.
A bike theft was reported at 12:07 p.m. in the 900 block of 1st Street. The black Mongoose BMX bicycle reportedly has black pegs and no handlebar grips.
Police responded at 12:58 p.m. to a report of a civil dispute.
Police responded to a 911 call from the Glarner Lodge, 900 Glarner Drive, at 1:39 p.m. Everything was fine and no other action was taken.
Suspicious activity was reported at 9:36 p.m. in the 200 block of 2nd Street.
Someone possibly screaming was reported at 11:13 p.m. The Green County Sheriff's Department assisted.

Someone found a watch at Glarner Park and brought it to the police department at 4:29 p.m.
A raccoon possibly trapped in a garbage can was reported at 9:08 p.m. Police found the raccoon was tangled in a piece of plastic and released it.
Police responded to an alarm call at 4:42 p.m. Friday on Wis. 69. It was found to be a false alarm.

Merriel Kruse, 63, Madison, was cited for speeding at 10:47 a.m. after police stopped her on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.
Michael D. Halvorsen, 24, New Glarus, was cited for a registration violation and not having insurance at 11:04 a.m. after police stopped him on 6th Avenue.

Shawn R. Carpenter, 18, Hanna K. Buol, 20, and a 17-year-old boy, all of Monroe, were cited for first-offense underage alcohol consumption at 2:24 a.m. in the N2200 block of Clarno Road in the Town of Clarno. All three were released to a responsible party pending court. A Monroe Police Department K-9 unit assisted.
Malik T. Caldwell, 18, New Glarus, Derek V. Bahr, 18, Belleville, a 16-year-old Belleville girl and a 17-year-old Belleville boy were cited for underage alcohol consumption at 2:45 a.m. in the N4700 block of Thunder Road in the Town of Monroe. They were released to a responsible party.
Michael S. Cooter, 26, Blanchardville, was cited for public nuisance (animal) at 8:58 a.m. in the N8100 block of Reeson Lane in the Town of York after police responded to a report of a loose horse. The horse was secured and Cooter was released pending court.
