Monroe Police

MONROE - Jerome E. Bass, 21, Monroe, was arrested in the 1800 block of 12th Street at 10:38 p.m. Friday, April 11, for an outstanding warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Bass was jailed pending court.

• Nicole T. Tessmann, 37, Warren, Ill., was arrested at 1:38 p.m. Saturday, April 12, for retail theft in the 300 block of West 6th Street. Tessmann was released pending court.

• Rory S. Privett, 20, Monroe, was arrested at 11:44 a.m. Sunday, April 13, for disorderly conduct, battery and strangulation as a result of a domestic dispute that occurred in the 600 block of 22nd Avenue. Privett was jailed pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Scott A. Neuenschwander, 46, South Wayne, was cited for disorderly conduct at 12:04 a.m. Sunday, April 13, after he allegedly fled from a bar in the 100 block of East Old Highway Road, Village of Browntown. Neuenschwander was released to a responsible party pending court.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Tuesday, April 8:

• Kenneth Ross, 16, Hollandale, was cited for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle at 5:28 p.m. after police received a report of a revving engine and squealing tires in the 1300 block of 3rd Street.

• Police were dispatched at 5:57 p.m. to a complaint of a dog left in a vehicle in the 10 block of 13th Avenue. After checking the welfare of the dog, the owner was contacted and everything was fine.

• Belleville Police requested New Glarus Police to aid in searching a house in the 500 block of Mitchell Street.

• Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in the 400 block of 2nd Street. Everything was fine.

Friday, April 11:

• Jeffrey E. Lease, 55, New Glarus, was cited for disorderly conduct at 11:08 p.m. in the 500 block of 14th Avenue.

• Sean M. Bongard, 24, Evansville, and Nikolas A. Stenli, 23, Edgerton, were arrested for retail theft from a tavern in the 10 block of 6th Avenue. Both were jailed pending court. Stenli was also held on a probation revocation hold from a conviction for failing to pay a fine of $200.50 on Oct. 31. Both subjects were also cited for prowling.

• Police and Green County Sheriff's deputies responded at 4:12 p.m. Sunday, April 13, to a report of a large rock in the southbound lane of Wisconsin 69 near County NN. Police and deputies checked the area, but no foreign objects were found in the roadway.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday, April 11:

• Douglas R. Nihles, 30, Platteville, was arrested at 7:09 a.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct and battery following investigation into an incident that occurred the previous night at a residence on County XX. Nihles was jailed pending court.

• Deputies investigated a complaint at 5:40 p.m. that a man was threatened with a knife on County G, Belmont Township. The suspect allegedly threatened a co-worker with a knife after the suspect was fired. The victim also reported several road rage incidents that occurred on County G, which resulted in the victim's vehicle being damaged. The suspect remains at-large and the incident remains under investigation.

On Saturday, April 12:

• A deputy investigated a criminal damage to property complaint at 9:40 a.m. on River Road, Argyle Township. Several mailboxes in the area had been vandalized the previous night.

• A deputy checked the welfare of several juveniles at a residence on West Center Street, South Wayne, at 5:50 p.m. The children were fine and the case appeared to be unfounded.

• A deputy assisted Argyle Police with a theft case at 6:46 p.m. at a residence on Old Highway 81, Argyle.

• A deputy investigated a report of criminal damage to property at 1:05 p.m. at a location on Cannon Road, Fayette Township. The complainant found a window in a camping unit had been vandalized.
